Food Review: Mr. Beast "Feastables" Chocolate Bars

Introducing "The Snack Files”. A collection of various snack finds you didn’t know you needed and some you’ll want to avoid at all cost. Let’s kick off this series with none other than Mr. Beast "Feastables" chocolate bars. Mr. Beast reformulated his Feastables chocolate bars with a new packaging that’s definitely more appealing than the original ones. Unfortunately, these versions aren’t made with organic ingredients like the original ones and at first glance, they all look like any other chocolate bars in the market right now but do they taste better? Here’s everything I got - I ate it and now let’s rate it.

They go for 3$ (cad) if you can find them at your grocery store but where I am, they don’t sell them so I had to order them online. Therefore, shipping, taxes and ordering from an independent seller played a role in the price. Now, let’s get into the order.
⁃ Milk Crunch: First, let’s start with the smell of each bars. They all have a pleasant aroma to them which is a good thing. The milk crunch is made with crispy rice pieces that provide a delightful crunch in every bite. The texture is smooth, creamy, airy - creating a light yet satisfying treat. It’s not too sweet but there’s just an aftertaste that I didn’t like but that doesn’t take away from the overall experience. I rate it 7/10
⁃ Almond: If you're a fan of nutty undertones in your chocolate, then this one is for you. With its smooth milk chocolate base, this bar incorporates crunchy almond pieces that offer a delightful texture contrast. Unfortunately, I just wished that the almond pieces were a bit bigger but that’s just my preference. I rate it 7.5/10
⁃ Milk Chocolate: The milk chocolate is Mr. Beast take on a timeless classic, and it does not disappoint. It’s creamy and rich, striking a good balance between the sweetness and cocoa depth. It melts perfectly on the tongue, delivering a smooth flavor that every chocolate lover will enjoy. I rate it 7/10
⁃ Dark Chocolate Sea Salt: The dark chocolate sea salt is intense and robust, with a depth of an aftertaste that I really didn’t care for. The sea salt didn’t help to enhance the chocolate's flavor and the texture was harder than the other chocolate bars. This one was my least favourite. I rate it 5/10
Did Mr. Beast Feastables chocolate bars lived up to the hype? Well… There's no denying that these bars have the foundation to become a staple in the chocolate industry but if I’m being completely honest, there’s nothing unique about them that makes me want to eat them again. I wish they would find a way to bring back the organic ingredients they once had and get rid of that aftertaste. They’re not bad but there’s nothing special about them. I rate Feastables chocolate bars a 3 out of 5 stars.
